Hi,

is it a simple solution to simulate  differential expression (DE) but not an alternative splicing (AS) or I have to modify .pro files (6 column) by my own scripts to distinguish these tasks?

    Hi,

    currently there is not straight forward way to do this. As you said, you could modify the profile. An alternative approach would be the modify the .gtf annotation you are using and "eliminate" alternative splicing on that level.
